A Sunny Day in Broadstairs Yeah!

Thomas ready for his day at the beach.

Today is the beginning of a Bank Holiday weekend. It was 23oC so we went to Broadstairs.

A lovely beach and great old English seaside resort.
Thomas got his bucket and spade again and we had a picnic on the beach.
It was heaven just to have time together and to relax on the beach.

Some pictures of the day are below !

The cutest picture in the world!

This has to be the cutest picture in the whole world!! It was taken yesterday afternoon after he'd being having so much fun at home with Mormor and Morfar all day. He'd refused to go to sleep after lunch and Mormor sat down with a cake towWatch Bob the Builder or Noddy with him at 3pm and after watching one episode she turned around to find him fast asleep in his chair. He wouldn't let go of either his green shovel or the garden trowel as these are his favourite items to be out in the garden with. He riggled around a bit but stayted asleep like this for an hour and a half, bless him. My mum, dad and I were in the kitchen chatting away whilstmaking spaghetti bolognaise but even this wouldn't wake him! He was a very tired little boy and woke up feeling all refreshed and ready to go out in the garden again for more digging!

I am going to print this off and put it on my desk at work so that whenever I get stressed I can look at it and think of him. He is such a wonderful little boy and brings such happiness to so many people, I am so lucky that he is mine!
He loves to talk all the time and is right little chatter box - funny that isn't it! We always read books before he goes to bed every night and his vocabulary has increased dramatically lately and it is music to our ears. His favourite at the moment is an alphabet book and he'll tell me what the object is when I point to it to all of the following items:
apple, ant, aligator, bowl, bear, boat, bubbles, cat, cake, camel, dolly, dog, duck, dog, elephant, egg, fish, fox, gate, girl, horse, house, hat, hen, hammer, jam, lion, lamb, ladder, monkey, mouse, rabbit, robot, ribbon, sock, shoe, table, telephone, watch, but my absolute favourite word is eepock which is peacock as we see and hear a lot of them at home. He loves to tell us about the eepock's long tail and that he's on the roof!!

A day out at Leeds Castle

Here are my two sepcial guys!!

Watching the birdies, Thomas is in heaven looking at all the peacocks (or as Thomas calls them eapocks) geese, ducks and all the exoctic birds in the averiary. Here they are looking at the toucan.

Lunchtime, here's Thomas with margarine all over his face and even on his nose!!!
Thomas didn't want to leave the playground, he wanted to go on everything...and he did!!

Enjoying the beautiful grounds, well as much as you can whilst carry half a tonne of "stuff"!

Maxi's 1st Birthday Party

Thomas and Daddy at Maxi's 1st birthday party (a few weeks ago!) Thomas loved this tractor and was very unhappy when other children wanted to play on it!!!

Well one of you is gonna have to push me!!!
We had a lovley time at the party, once we found the house as our damn sat nav got us lost!!!
There were lots of children to play with and he loved going on the trampoline and in the sand pit he'll never tire of getting dirty in the sand!!! As usual it got a bit difficult at dinner time as he couldn't eat the food so we took it in turns to play with him away from all the food while the other filled their face with curry or chilli...yumm!
