Fun in the paddling pool!

Thomas and I have had a quiet week spending a lot of time at home pottering around and having lots of walks around the village. We've spent a lot of time outside, in particular in the garden under a parasol. T has loved crawling around and investigating everything, these are some of the things he likes to do when outside:- picks the petals off flowers, pick up dirt and eat it, pick at ants, empty my washing basket full of clean clothes out on the grass and play with the hose pipe. This means I have to watch him like a hawk!
We are all missing both sets of grandparents (and Debbie too of course!) and can't wait to see them. Simon and I have been saying to each other how we wished we were out in Oz and have both been quite low about being home but knowing that everyone out there is having such a great time. My parents are in their caravan touring the UK for a month or so and sound like they're having a great time relaxing....hhhmmm I can remember what that word means I think!?
The weather has been getting hotter all week and today it reached 27c so Simon and I thought we'd get T's paddling pool out. We filled it with a little bit of water and let the heat of the day heat it up until at around 3pm when we put T in his little wet suit and in he went! He absolutely loved it and splashed around whilst giggling and chattering. He especially loved it went he splashed Simon and I...he's got our sense of humour!!!
We have a busy week planned for next week: Monday T has more skin prick tests at Medway Hospital, Tuesday go and see Nana, Grandad and Debbie, Wednesday is Nana's birthday so we'll see them all again, Thursday our 1st introduction session at nursery and Friday out for lunch with a lady I used to work with. Hopefully the weather will be nice but not too hot.
