Thomas had his first morning at nursery today and he seemed to enjoy most of it by playing with the other children (which is good as they are mostly nearly 2 years old). This session was and 1.5 hours long and he did a lot of investigating the new area, a lot of watching the other children, joined in the painting and then had some fruit to eat. He then got very tired and let Tammy (his Key Worker) give him a cuddle, it was as he going to sleep that he remembered that Tammy wasn't his mummy and this made him very unhappy!! Luckily I turned up about 10 minutes later and I got a very BIG cuddle and he didn't want to let go of me (not to even go in his car seat....bless!!) We had a lovely lunch whilst watching the birdies eat his old home made bread out on the grass and then it was time for bed, he's been asleep since 1pm and it's now 2.30pm...fingers crossed he'll still sleep tonight!!
