Happy Mothers Day!

Today was very special as it was my first Mothers Day, I never thought I would ever celebrate it as a mum myself...but here I am! Thomas and Simon made it very special for me, the day started with me getting two cards, one from Thomas and one from Simon, both of which made me cry with happiness! Then it was time for a couple of gifts, one was a large box of Malteesers (one of my favourite things!!) and the other was a large bottle of Baileys (the other most favourite thing!!!). I then spent a couple of hours cooking apples, pears and plums for Thomas as this is all he seems to want to eat at the moment.

My mum is still very poorly with the nasty flu virus so it wasn't possible to meet up with her and my dad today, hope to see them tomorrow if she's better. I feel terribley guilty as I asked my mum to come and help me look after T on Monday last week as I felt so terrible with the flu...and now she's got it...am so sorry mum!!!

Simon's mum and dad popped up to see us for an hour and here are a few photos we took when they were with us.

Hi Maria, you always leave us such lovely messages...thank you!!! We feel very lucky to have Thomas as our little boy, we love him to bits and wouldn't change a thing. (well apart from him taking a bottle and sleeping through the night!)
Reuben is a little cutie pie too and he is lucky to have you both as you are such loving and caring parents...very lucky boy!
We won't see you tomorrow as I'm taking Thomas to hospital to have the skin allergy tests done...wish us luck!
Take care and hope to see you soon,
LOL
